Community Projects

The burden of poverty can have long-term damaging impacts on the health and quality of life of individuals, their families and communities.

HIER Institute is committed to finding effective solutions to local and global challenges that are both accessible to needy and sustainable for the community.

With this aim in mind, HIER Institutes’ current International Community Project seeks to empower vulnerable and impoverished individuals (mainly women) from remote parts of the world (e.g. India) gain an education in health care. In learning effective and employable skills for addressing health problems in their community, these individuals are expected to provide accessible and sustainable health services to their remote villages whilst also improving the socioeconomic status of their broader community.

This is an initiative to empower women in impoverished, isolated communities in India gain an education in health care to improve the health, wellbeing and socioeconomic plight of individuals, families and their broader community. The initiative also seeks to alleviate the gender gap to free women from the cycle of poverty and encouraging their socioeconomic participation for the betterment of their community.
